and her partner Isaiah on the dance floor. Darla Montoya, a rare beauty,
is also a maverick, a classic example of an LA Rockabilly woman: hard working,
self reliant, artistic, and gorgeous: that intoxicating combination of steel
and flower petals that keeps the LA Rockabilly scene alive, modern and adventurous.
Darla, while holding down a fulltime job in downtown LA, launched
first a website and later a brick and mortar storefront selling reissue
retro gear for men and women. Rebel Beat is proud to have her enterprise,
